While we experience the physical world constantly and everywhere, our interactions with the digital world usually happen through small screens. Visualizing huge amounts of information on such little space is one of the biggest challenges in human computer interaction.

This one day experiment showcases a potential solution to this problem for maps. It allows to zoom in on parts that are actually relevant while preserving peripherial context.
